Great video. Just a tip for the beginner. If you snip the corner tips before filing you get a really nice rounded edge.

Hi Kelly from Sydney, Australia. Ive been binge watching your videos. Im totally addicted, you are really wonderful. I have a question...just finished watching one from 2016 about pricing jewellery for sale. Hope it isnt too late to ask the question...but...with the first necklace you made you said to double the cost of components & that was what to charge (if wanted). Then in the next project you mentioned about including costs for labour, which wasnt mentioned in the first project. Just wanted to clarify as it would make a big difference. Thanks.

Kelly do you have the ring mandrels on your site? and what size did you use to bend your pendant on?

Yes we have the metal mandrels on our sight. I believe they are in the tools section of the site. I used a size 9 on the mandrel for my pendant.

Is the wire 925 Silver or just plated?

The wire is the Artistic Wire. It has a coating over the top of it to help from tarnishing

Can we use our memory wire cutter on these? Good video

Dorothy Ferris - No - if you look at the cutting edge of memory wire cutters, they are rounded and therefore wouldn't give you a straight cut. Also, as the wire is wider then normal you would need to make a couple of cuts/snips. The best cutters for this job are flush cutters. You also may need to use a nail file to give a flat edged finish. All the best Mary

I would not suggest using any cutters except some really heavy duty cutters. You will ruin your cutters if you don't use something that can cut thick wire. This is a 14ga wire so its pretty thick

I don't think so. They are made out of the same material that regular artistic wire is made of. According to BeadFX who emailed Beadalon about this, this is what Beadalon had to say about it "All of our wire (except the Non-Tarnish Brass) is copper-based. In the case of the silver colors, the copper is first covered in silver then the polyurethane colored coating is applied over the silver."
