You can do protective styles such as braids, sew-ins, twists, wigs, etc untill you reach the length you want. OR you can trim the ends of your hair perodically (monthly or after each wash) little by little untill your permed hair is eventually gone completely. However you will have to be extra cautious with the two different hair texture where it is easier for breakage to occur where the the two hair textures meet in the shaft because it is weakest. I hope this helps :)
