FLATBAG DLS - How to pack

Absolutely superb bag. I've just bought one, and it's the easiest, simplest concertina bag I've ever used. Bravo for an ingenious design. Just a quick question: At 1.37 , where you begin to fold the bag according to the white markers, would it be possible to fold from the leading edge (so backwards verses your technique) towards the trailing edge? Just to make it easier possibly when the harness has not been disconnected.

Hey, thank you for your feedback! We're not quite sure if we understood your question correctly but folding it from the leading edge all the way down wouldn't work.

To anyone else reading this, buy this bag! Keeping the harness connected is a cake walk, but you know how it is when you have to leave more line length out of the bag to account for folding the bag, so you aren't dragging your harness on each fold. Not an issue at all.

@@advanceparagliders I don't understand how you would fold it with the harness still connected then... Why wouldn't that work?

I have a question, please, so what is the difference between this one and the Tubebag instead of that its a compressed bag and which one is better for store the wing for a long time and travel with it ??👏🏼

A glider shouldn't be stored compressed if possible. The Flatbag compresses the glider, which makes it compact for traveling. To store the glider you could also just open the Flatbag. If compactness is a key factor for you we'd recommend to go for the Flatbag.

Kann man den Schirm darin länger aufbewahren oder ist das eher schädlich wegen der Kompression?

Für die längerfristige Aufbewahrung empfehlen wir den Schirm so offen wie möglich zu lagern, also z.B. in diesem Fall den Reisverschluss zu öffnen, damit er nicht über lange Zeit komprimiert ist.

Sollte man die Eintrittskante oben um 90 grad drehen, damit die Zellen aufeinander und nicht nebeneinander liegen oder ist das egal? Bei anderen Herstellern wird das mit der 90 Grad Drehung nämlich gezeigt. Was ist besser für die Zellen?

No need to rotate it, the bag design does it for you. Note how the zip is on top when he closes it, but on the side when he folds it. Genius bag, I love mine.

Du kannst das machen, es ist aber nicht zwingend nötig, da es keinen negativen Einfluss hat in diesem Fall.
