Flathead Co. Commissioners deny grievance about marijuana use in drug test

Flathead County Commissioners voted on a grievance filed by the Montana Federation of Public Employees Union on behalf of the health department employees to remove marijuana from random drug testing.
The commissioners unanimously denied the grievance request.
Flathead County requires drug testing for county employees whose roles include supervision, performance or management in hazardous work environments, security, public safety, or public health. Including employees where driving is a part of their job.
