Thank you, Jesse. I, too, needed to hear this message. I don't doubt my salvation, but life has been really hard, well all of it. Not just for a time but for all time. Sometimes I cry out to Jesus asking, "Is THIS what you saved me for?" I know that God uses all of our experiences for "the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose." But, the heartache..... when did the heartache dissipate?

John 10:27-28 as long as we're following him we cannot be snatched out but as soon as we stop following him to go after sin Satan has a tiny foothold to re claim you..back to hell.

Regarding Ephesians 2:8-9. Read the whole chapter, in vs 1-3, it explains how sinful we "were" before we were saved.

Everyone likes to take Romans 7 and twist it out of context but if you read chapter 5 6 and 8 you'll see that this is simply a part of his testimony when he was a complete hypocrite. Then he was completely delivered from his sin and walking in holiness.

Yeshua said go and sin no more not less and show all explained how simply stopped for 10 seconds and take every thought captive and make it obedient to Messiah. Evaluate if that thought word or deed is going to possibly glorify Satan in any way or will it glorify Elohim!!

We are to remember his Hebrew "Name" of the Messiah who is Yeshua. He knew that in the end times, the name would be changed to Greek: Jesus whuch is a false Messiah.
