Flatland-3d esk8 glove review. Are they worth it?

I have been riding with wrist guards, and while they do offer great protection they are just too clumsy and uncomfortable. So, I just switch to gel padded cycling glove which I know won't last as long but the flatland glove are just too pricy. Hope they get the cost down on these some day. Good review.

Yes. Very expensive. BUT!!!... If it saves you from one fall...it's worth it. The triple eight palm guards are not comfortable to use with a remote. I am currently sporting road rash sooooo yeah. I'm considering wearing protection every ride.

@ 4:02 What you do in cold is wear a pair of Mechanix full fingered gloves, and wear the Knox finger cut-offs over them.

I think these are worth it for $40. (already expensive), but not $60!...

phototristan I do wish they were cheaper. I say that mainly because I feel safety should be a priority and due to the higher price I know a lot of people will not buy these. I will however say from experience that these actually work. I fell hard going over 20mph. Hard enough that I actually ripped the side of one glove apart. That being said, other than a scratch where the glove ripped open and a scratch on one finger that's not even covered by the half finger design, my hands were fine. No broken bones or trauma of any kind on my hands. I'll be buying another replacement pair for sure. I would highly recommend these gloves, but I still agree with you and I wish they were cheaper...
