Thank you so much for recognizing Michael Collins. His role was so vital, but it was also terrifying. Aboard the command module, while orbiting the moon, there would a period of communication blackout, and he would be TOTALLY alone because he couldn't even contact the people back in Earth.

There are plenty of books out there, Area 51 by Annie Jacobson is a good one, explains a little bit about the lunar landing and Wernher von Braun. It's actually very interesting and makes sense as to why alot of people don't trust the governments.

"Won the space race" isn't correct. Soviets won the race to the space when Yuri Gagarin left the Earth's atmosphere. Americans only won the "moon race" to the moon.

It involved the efforts to explore outer space with artificial satellites, to send humans into space, and to land people on the Moon. While calling the moon landing a part of space race is correct, the initial goal was to bring a human into the outer space On the other had, the video is calling it a "win" which is absolutely not correct considering that soviets were first to launch the satellite AND first to launch a human into space only having not sent a human to the moon, which happened years after Yuri Gagarin got into space
