Looks like a good remake of that 1990 Keifer Sutherland movie Flatliners and the sound track is Janes Addiction among other neogoth and post industrial sounds. I remember the first time I listened to the Nothings Shocking CD. I thought I would be further along by now. Good movies cause you to think and feel as you examine life and meaning.

This is a movie that did not need to be remade. And I am not one of those guys. I think most movies need periodic reboots, there are only so many stories worth telling. But the problem here is that there isn't any cutting edge science to explore anymore. This isn't the frontier it was in the 90s. Shit has moved VERY far since the original. Plus the feel is 100% wrong. Flatliners isn't just about the plot it's about the atmosphere, an autumnal Halloween darkness, with blinking industrial lights and flapping plastic over ancient paintings and statues. It's just too bound up in time. The only way it could possibly work is like the Omen, a shot for shot remake as a period piece. A reboot is just all kinds of wrong here.
