The whole series is worth watching. One amusing thing is that as Henk Poort was the first "guest" for the others to sing for, and Floor was first up, they both started and finished the series, and on a high too - I'm not sure what Floor's highest note in Vilja Lied is, but I think it may be G6 - comfortably, too. Well out of my comfort zone, as I'm basso profundo, so strictly on the bass clef (and below).

Ouch Marta! With "Beste Zangers", can you imagine being on the sofa with them? Wasn't that amazing? Floor was inspired by Henk when she was a youngster (he was an ALW favourite for the part of the Phantom), that's real fangirling you could see :) Henk especially did the growling rasp for Floor, her face reaction! The Beste Zangers show is super too, well worth watching the whole show (for the info and comments between each song) and the rest of the 2019 series! Oh, and other years too... Several Dutch singers from different genres are invited for a holiday in Ibiza, they get to know each other with picnics and walks on the beach during the day. They will be practicing a relevant song for each days centre of attention. The duets I think was the last of the series. It's not a competition, but they really inspire each other, and have a lot of fun. The crash of thunder at the beginning wasn’t a sound effect, they were in the middle of a storm, with water leaking through the roof, you can see it dripping to the left of Floor on the close-ups, and in the pool behind. The crew must have been a bit alarmed, but they kept going. I like to think of being on those sofas with the other singers, what a lovely idea and so intimate, being just a few feet away from the performers. Floor chose this band for her solo concerts recently. Beste Zangers Eurovision introduction, Floor did "Euphoria"...

That last note can injure many even professional singers. In the musical the performer who plays floor does not hit that last note live. It is piped in. That’s an amazing last note that few in the world can hit live. The only one I’ve heard on the distaff side is the great beyond amazing Park Kiyoung ( check out her youtube “ Park Kiyoung best High notes” vid ( 5:56 long she belts a C5 between 3:55 and 4:11 that’s 17 seconds!! She also hits an F6 !!!!!! You gals will absolutely love Park Kiyoung who I consider among the best female vocalist on the planet along with floor, Morissette, Diana Ankudinova, Diana Navarro. A few of my favorites that are worthy of reacting to: ( either privately or publicly) KZbin: “I dreamt I dwelt in Marble Halls” ( 5:02 duration. A rare hidden gem that she performs the way it was intended to be performed : as an opera in English.
