Great video!... one question, how can I make the start and end of the lines square instead of rounded?

SOLUTION Instead of creating a solid, just create a shape layer and have all your strokes sit within that one shape layer, so you will be able to set the lines to that squared-off look if it doesn't no it auto. Line Cap > Butt Cap: • Set the opacity to Multiply • Add Trim Paths > set Trim Multiple Shapes to: Individually Then just follow rest of video for the 3D bit

It's my first time working with ae i don't know how to zoom with camera, then when created a new comp i didn't know how to drag it to other one and i couldn't find my way back after created a new comp so i just deleated my work..

this is nice, the only thing I'm missing is how to alter the shape of the marker stroke. if you did it like this, the marker stroke is just a perfect circle, I would like something more authentic and imperfect, grungy with some cracks in the stroke. got any tips?

Hey, the stroke path is just a mask so you can go to that layer and then go to the mask settings and change the path by selecting it and using your pen tool. For effect you can apply a turbulent displacement map and use it as a layer mask.
