I sit in my room with the lights turned off, staring out my window past my single lilly growing on the wooden window cill.It reaches for the setting sun beyond the glass. I think of you, I think of us. I'm so complicated, a contradicting scribble-head. One moment I want you and the next I don't know what I want. I left you because I was afraid of you leaving me.... how crazy is that?? We were together for a year and a half (the longest I've ever been in a relationship before). You loved and accepted me for who I was and who I was becoming throughout my transition. My brain held me back..I just couldn't learn to trust you. Something wouldn't let me...I've been cheated on so many times, abused my whole life. I never had a good example of a healthy relationship, but that's no excuse. It wasn't fair to you. It wasn't fair that my past affected our present. There were so many factors, your mother hated our relationship and kept us apart. We couldn't handle it as two raw and emotional people. We wanted to be eachothers rocks, but we were both drowning. Things were so simple in the beginning, weren't they? We saw eachother everyday, I got to hold you.. and now it's going on 5 months since we've seen eachother. I guess what I'm saying is.. I'm sorry, kitten. I'm so sorry for everything. You're still my angel, and I would do anything for you. We built our future around eachother, we'd talk until two AM every night. I'd sing you to sleep. We we're too young for that kind of commitment, and I hope that we can resume it one day when we're both more mature and stable. Like the lilly in my window cill, people grow. The sun sets every night... but somehow finds the audacity to rise every morning. I miss you. ( I'm not looking for attention, I just decided to let my emotions flow and type this. I didn't think much of it, but I felt everything. I'm so tired, I could do better at writing. I'm so tired. There's a void in my chest. I'm so tired)
