This song reminds me of a man who is more of a ghost to me than anything anymore. I'll always love him even though it's been three years and I often wonder where he's at right now. The other night when I was drunk I sat on my roof and wondered if we were looking at the same sky. He said he'd always love me but we couldn't work out because he was enlisting in the military and was likely pushing to be on the front line...and he didn't want me to wait for a man who might die. It makes me wonder why he had to leave me... I miss him but I'm also so damn angry with him... I don't know what to do with myself. I still have dreams and nightmares about him and part of me wants them to continue so I don't forget his face. Other times I wish I'd never met the man. Love hurts.
