I got a cheater on my team yesterday while I was on Ana. I switched to lifeweaver, formed an alliance with the enemy team and spent the rest of the game pulling the cheater into the enemy team where they immediately got smoked. We lost but it was 1000% more satisfying than if I had won with the cheater.

Had a Hanzo/Mercy hacker/boosted yesterday. First kill cam I saw it was BLATANTLY obvious they were cheating. Called them out in game chat only for their team to start talking shit and telling me I'm just jealous. Went on to have them in the next 3 out of 5 games. @@mongrel1308 my rank varies pretty widely across roles. From Diamond to Silver. My tank sits in Plat, Support is Diamond, and DPS is Silver because I rarely play enough of that to raise my rank. Either way, I've seen that attitude in every rank I play. Granted, I'm barely out of metal rank but you'd think at least Diamond players would have a better attitude but they usually don't.

Theres a reason why most devs go with this approach, Thor on Pirate Software talked about this during all the Apex shenanigans. The more consistent the bans, the more data points hackers have to work around bans.

I've played against that cheater when I was doing support games in gold 1. Our tank would shut him down in nearly every fight as Sigma. As for the dev team not responding to cheater reports. I would wager that part of the security/anti-cheat team got laid off as part of that gutting they went through. Which is why the automated system is so hilariously trigger-happy rn. Before there was probably a person verifying it, now it's just automatic "you said the f word, ban." as opposed to "this person said horrific things about your mother and said to unalive yourself, we will give you a warning for your language in response but the other person will be silenced."

Indeed, they can lose their account. In the past myself and others, when it's obvious a cheater is being pocketed we reported them both. Few days later got the account action notification.

That's not feasible, there's no way to tell for sure if your teammate is cheating during the game. Even if you witness something really sus you can't determine if that was cheating, luck, or lag etc. and you can't just trust when someone accuses someone otherwise every game would have someone accusing someone else of cheating to try to get their team to throw. It is what it is and it's not up to the players to police it. It's up to the anti cheat to keep them out of our games so we don't have to think about that kind of thing.

Especially when even without being able to see the kill cams you are aware you’re in gold and “wow strange how my tank who was accused of cheating keeps hitting so many headshots/getting a lot of kills that normal tanks in my rank wouldn’t get” should be in your head. This is proof that the game is not performing anywhere close to the numbers Blizzard claims. If you are in Gold5-Gold1 and you run into the same player three games in a row, that is crazy. This is normal in high Elo (top 500), but Gold is the most common Elo. So the fact that they found each other three times is crazy. Tons of veterans have given up completely on the game, myself included, and they act like this doesn't matter, but in reality, Overwatch is slowly dying.

Even though you can see her, Sombra is still huge counter to ball and generally a lot of the team comp the cheaters team was running, at least IMO. If she times things right, can counter Balls movement/abilities/ult, Mercy's Rez, Moira's ult, Ashe's ult, etc.

Day 2 or 3 of the new season; I encountered 'Mart' a junkrat.. he has Xim on Playstation/console🎉 DONT BE LIKE MART. I played two games against him, and let me say, Don't be like 'Mart'. This was me coming back to the game after a 2 month break❤ And lemme tell yall how it went😊 Me n the Squad washed their team early in, Dominated this team, got to the 2nd objective, n we Hit a wall. They went super defensive... Relying on a Doom to set up Plays; while a Junk, sniped and campd.. hitting every shot.. As of hitting a wall/ Difficulty spike, we Turned it up. After OUR entire squad all died about 2 or 3 times to Only 1 guy, we began to wonder... so I watched a KC: Mart, was cheating❤ As thr Squad began to realize what 'Mart' was.. The squad turned it up. So instead of playin Rein, the Punching Bag; I switched to Hog, the Punchin BaaG. The shit talking began, a5 least on our side; as they were already doing so❤ Fundamentally breaking their team, I fought Mart. And lemme tell you. It was a very one sided beat down🎉 I killed this boy, 13 times. In the first game.but Little Mart, hasnt had nearly enough yet, I happened to run into him the next game❤ all but Marts names had changed; but we fought the same Team Comp, he was Junk again🎉 my ego was alive; 2 months without playing, that just made me Hungry😊 I'm a player, whod have a teammate turn on cheats, but not use em, jus6 so I'd run into Others❤ Yes it's a Thang❤ Sooooo I Fundamentally broke him down in everyway possible, setting him up for team plays; brutalizing him myself; I just couldn't get enough 😊 At the end of the game, he said he was going to uninstall ❤ Two games back to back, I Broke Mart. I was playing a game as Mercy and three enemy players started saying our Zarya was cheating. Since I couldn't see it from their perspective, I just took their word and decided to not heal or damage boost the Zarya (I'm not about to enable a cheater!). Later on, the Zarya added me and told me that I was going to get mass reported for "throwing" because I chose to not heal him. He told me he has a "substantial following" who were all going to report me and then messaged me my battletag.

I played today and I just started playing like not even a month ago and I got accused of cheating. I honestly don't understand why they were saying that. I was playing mystery heros, and I've gotten pretty good at like Moria. I was playing mystery heros so I could learn the characters. The only thing I can figure is that they think i was cheating bc I'm better at some characters more than others. I'm not sure.
