My friend and I are silver tanks mains on PC and there are smurfs and cheaters a lot. We had a game where 2 new dps account players went afk on Ligiang Tower tower 1st round and we got rolled. 2nd round they let the enemy team get to 99% before they started playing and then proceeded to spawn camp the enemy team as tracer and sombra and we won 2nd round. They let both teams get 99% 3rd round and then went afk off the point and let the other team win.

It looks like someone testing a bot script. It's easiest to do it at a level where the players may not realize because you look bad or dumb. But the Point 1 resetting looked like bot error return scripting or failure to detect.

​@@christopherlee280 Aimbots have to be tested to make sure it doesn't toggle allies or other ally items. It's basically checking to see if the bot locks onto it. Notice how active the tester (aka idiot) goes active when certain situations occur. It's def testing to make sure it only locks into certain things when there are multiple targets around, allies included. EDIT: Also the dude did a double snap on a mercy lol ofc it's an aimbot. The program readjusted his flick onto Mercy's poor head.

I can attest, to this although I climbed out a few months ago. had them in a game in like August and it was the same thing that you see here. They spend most of that match afk, and the other portion they use to get potg so they aren't accused of throwing. The sad thing is there are a lot of people who do this. I used to play this game where I would check to see if a person who is blatently throwing is grouped up and if they were I'd spectate the groupmates for funnies. I now enjoy this more than actual overwatch.

Wait now that you mention it, I think I've seen them in a match once, looked back at the match and was honestly kinda doubting. Cheating is getting harder to detect but sometimes when you like see them aiming for someone through a wall you're able to tell. But that's only on replays because them you can see the outlines of everyone. When you're in an actual game it's so hard to tell :(

​@@aguyontheinternet8436 Kephri is a widow player, top 500, who plays really weird/uncommon angles that only work if you have really good aim and the enemy team doesn't expect you (which why would they, they are uncommon for a reason) Kinda like Arrge does for Hanzo, because they both stream, people who play those heroes often try to imitate them, more often than not to a lesser degree of success, so that playstyle is frown upon by some players. Similar to what happens with the "Reddit Lucio".

Since you cannot know that any players on the opposing team are human, there is at minimum a 1 out of 6 chance of there being a bot. Technically? There are higher odds of there being a bot on your own team. This is extremely rudimentary, as obviously if you know that 5 out of 6 players are human, that doesn't provide a 100% chance of the 6th player being a bot.

Someone said higher it was an acc used to test their hack and create special situations in them. It's better to use them in lower elo, they don't get reported + can easily climb back. @@joecon601 May as well be doing both at the same time. Testing cheat while deranking, then leave the account in bronze and sell it and not have to worry about future reports on the account. Better to test cheats on accounts that will be sold off anyways, rather than accounts you wanna keep and risk long-term report ban. Probably also fewer people in bronze willing to report cheaters or know how to spot them. Probably just write them off as smurfs.

I've played with this Widow before (except they weren't on Widow that time, they were on Hanzo, with equally good aim). They say they have a peak SR on their main of 4200 and a current SR around 3600-3700, they don't remember exactly because placements only. At the time they were trying to win, but it's unclear to me if that was a "smurfing with friends" stack or a boosting stack. (They ended up losing because our team had 2 smurfs to their 1), but in any case they basically live in Bronze and are not as some speculate deranking the account for resale... they're just deranking to get back to the bottom after climbing too much. That's not to say they aren't cheating, of course, just that they aren't in any hurry to rank up.

This sounds like me watching my 12-year-old nephew play lol. He floats between 700-900 every season, generally closer to 700. I play in low diamond. The coordination, synergy, and movement are an entire different thing when you get below 1000. It's so weird, it's like it's an entirely different game, but sadly also, a lot of smurfs down there, too. I watched one game and was like there is no way someone with these mechanical ability, game sense, and positioning/repositioning levels is sub 1000, especially being a new account. They played like people I play against. And given the generosity of the mmr on your very first placements, if they played like that through their placements, they would have been placed diamond without a doubt. I kind of felt bad for my nephew, but hey, the kid has fun with it, so I guess it's all good.

When the widow was spawncamping the mercy its clear that he's at least walling, he might preaim with his mousearm but he knows exactly where mercy is gonna walk out of the wall from, and puts his crosshair in a location that would preempt that.. the 'aim-key' might be more of a subject of opinion, imo this looks like real aim + walls to me but most of the time they don't use their real aim through the whole match so it'd be really hard to know for sure.

I've heard of a hack that does not affect aim but when a target touches the crosshair, it automatically shoots. I think it could be that or idk.
