So cringe when people shit-talk unprovoked in general. People have such egos in a stupid ass video game it's just so cringey. One time I was playing rein v rein on king's row (because I have honor) I didn't swap the entire game to honor the duel. I was gapping their rein (and I didn't say anything) and then their DPS swapped to bastion and reaper and they had Ana + zen. They literally knew I was the carry so they shut me down and then they won the round. Kid had the audacity to type "MTD" so then I swapped to sigma and smoked him - ended up winning the game. He then coped after and said "I made you swap off rein I still gapped you" yeah unfortunately there are players that delusional in this game. Btw this was like a plat lobby lol

I think some people are still used to her movement being super OP like it was in season 1 so they still just think she's not killable but she absolutely is now. Those nerfs made a huge difference. She's still not super easy to hit yes, but it's actually doable now. But yeah some ppl just dont even care to try. Then they wonder why the mercy gets so many rezzes off. The ONE time she stands perfectly still and nobody tries to punish her. They shoot the orisa instead

Just had a game with a heavy tank diff (enemy tank had 40 kills and 5 deaths, ours was 11 and 12). I'm pretty relaxed in this game but he started spamming the chat asking for everyone to "report the Heals". Myself and the other support had about 17k healing between us about 3.5k more than the enemy. That shit is what drives me up the wall.

Just so you know if you're playing support and you have alot of heals it doesn't mean ur doing better, maybe try using your utility and getting some kills and damage to actually help ur team

To be honest, the numbers mean nothing. I'm not saying "your healing numbers can't be used to defend your performance" as an attack, I'm saying literally, in either direction. Healing numbers, with no context, are useless. If you tell me you were doing everything you could, I believe you; it's a fine claim, and I have no reason to doubt anyone who says it. If someone says, "I was healing great look at my number," or "You were doing awful look at your number," it's meaningless. A team that does more damage can get less kills, for the same reason... and I don't JUST mean because of the numbers, I mean literally the exact same reason. A team that kills quickly and easily will by definition be doing less damage, because they only do the damage once and it kills. Etc.

And honestly it's worse for the tank. In OW1 you could usually play around your team, their team and your tank partner to play SOMETHING other than The One True Counter-Pick. But now? Unless you're straight up doffing the match-up (including any dps/support counterpicks) you're just playing Rein->Orisa->Zarya->Rein or some other similar bullahit countersink cycle.

I started playing OW when OW2 first launched and I quit a few weeks later because there was no progression, no way to earn free items and the matchmaking was dogshit. None of that has changed which is such a shame because the game is fun AF it just doesn't value your time in any way.

I don't know about GM and above but one thing I've noticed in the master rank is that players will tend to play the game with a "game theory optimal" mindset. Not taking risks or trying to make a game changing play. I think many players would rather lose but still maintain good stats (good KD ratio) so that the blame doesn't go to them. Basically people are pussies.

This made me remember of a tank that I played with, it's the Busan and the place is the one with a lot of cars and small hallway, at the start of the game, my tank (orisa) decide to just zoom into the point and pass all the enemy tank, DPS and supports and then spam for us to go sit on the point with her despite me, another support and both DPS suffer greatly as we're getting bullied by a doomfist, Hanzo and the rest of the enemy And the end, the tank just decide it's our fault for not healing enough even thou he just keep pressing w even when both of us supports struggling at the back I just playing the comp for fun, but then this happened and the best thing, the support and the tank is bickering with each other in chat while standing still in front of enemy

Counter swapping is such a lame way to have to play, they should remove swapping from the game once the game starts. OWL also needs hero draft regardless of keeping/removing swap, force hero uniqueness will encourage team diversity making it far more interesting to watch.
