I’ve recently been buying chunk light at TJ, after reading that darker tuna has less mercury. Also, I’m concerned about the cleanliness of the water in which the fish live. I want the truth! I always say to myself if it is Bobby approved or not. Totally addicted to label reading.. I have been doing Keto for 1 1/2 years. It is all in making good choices. I lost 60 pounds and I wear a size 8. Good choices and label reading have improved my health.

I would be careful about buying ANY frozen fish. Read the label carefully. A few years ago China started under bidding all the domestic fish processing plants... not only in the U.S. but the EU and other areas of the world. Because China basically has a slave labor wage work force that do such things as fish processing as well as for many manufacturing jobs the Chinese government can undercut any civilized nation that pays their workers a living wage and gives employees decent working conditions. China is putting barges out in the ocean. The fish are dropped off there and the laborers slice up the fish and pack it. Many of those workers do not see land for years. Many die out there. No healthcare, no life flights to carry a sick or injured worker to a nice hospital. Human life is cheep there. China has been caught doing some very shady things with building materials and pet food ingredients. I would not buy any food product processed there or anywhere on the other side of the world where there are no regulations whatsoever. Most food in U.S. grocery stores are not from China but some ingredients in food items are and some foods, such as fish, are processed there. Labeling in the U.S. has become very shady. Some ingredients do not even have to be listed on a label if the ingredient is in a low amount. This is why when dogs in the U.S. were dying due to chewing on dried “chicken” processed in China, for some strange reason no one could figure out why. Thousands of pets also died several years ago when the Chinese decided that ground up melamine (a form of plastic that dishes are made of) would work well as a filler for dog food! Was melamine listed in the ingredient list? No, of course not. The Chinese government has a whole different way of approaching capitalism. Our way may not be the best but the present Chinese government has NEVER had the ethics that are now, sadly, quickly fading in the west. It is getting so that you have to be a detective when it comes to purchasing just about anything.

I actually like the frozen riced cauliflower. I find it doesn't have that sharp cauliflower taste like fresh - the frozen is more mellow and bland, so it makes a better bland "rice" base that I can season or put a flavorful sauce over. I just microwave it, and it comes out great, not too mushy or wet.

Unless things have changed since I was involved in farming, the Round up is sprayed on the grain crops after the grains is harvested. The reason is to kill any weeds before planting a crop after the small grain such as soybeans or corn. It kills the growing weeds, but should not effect the crop that was planted in the stubble.

I make cauliflower rice from frozen. I just put it a wok and stir it. (You do not need to add water, oil, boil or even drain. Once defrosted and warm in the wok, I remove. There is no water or sogginess.) Then I stir fry mini organic peppers, onions, mushrooms, onions and add fresh chopped garlic at the end with a little organic butter. Mix all together. Season to taste or add Coconut amino (sold at Whole foods). I buy the organic cauliflower frozen at Costco. This large bag has individually wrapped packets. Sometimes I make stir fry chicken and add to the cauliflower rice. You can add even a little chili pepper sauce. Yum!

Usually I get frozen berries when the fresh are too expensive. I also get some frozen veggies, riced cauliflower and broccoli. Also frozen cauliflower for making cauliflower nuggets. I make my own sweet potato fries. I slice then bake them in the oven without any oil. Then I eat them with ketchup that does not have corn syrup, or stone ground or spicy mustard. Most remade food has oil in them which sets heavy in my chest; it does not feel good at all. Reason why I do my best to avoid all oils whenever possible. I find it is always easier to make my own version that will not make me feeling bad.

I am so glad you are talking about Morning Star farms. Years ago i thought if i bought those products, i could see what people rave about. Things i can not eat like items from cows, pigs, and sheep. Instead all i did was make myself as sicks as the other proteins do to me. I get really sick like i caught a bad bug. Years later i found out why i can not stomach so many foods that are considered vegan. I had to add soy to products i can not have. I have to flip everything over and do a search for meat or soy in anything i want to try. Your fast food video opened my eyes to why i dislike fast food. There are to many companies putting in some kind of soy product in our food. I have sever reactions to soy products and it took me years to figure out what was causing my reactions. Even restaurants are using these lower quality foods with soy now. As the years have gone by i have added places to my do NOT buy ever list. Of course all the fast food are on the list. Usually i will go for a salad in most places with a dressing i know i can eat without a reaction. I do not like buffets but if it is the place everyone wants then i will go for a salad. I have sever reactions to Golden Corral buffet salad bar. I am thinking maybe cross contamination by the employees. I have been to this place in multiple cities and states and i get violently sick every single time, so i refuse to eat there at all. Vinaigrette dressing are usually the safe bet, but at Golden Corral i have tried that and the French dressing. I do Like some of Amy products but like everything in my world it is all about the ingredients. Loved this video! I am going to try some of the items i have not tried before that i have over looked. I really am not that big on frozen foods so i do not spend a lot of time in this section of any store. Like everyone there are days that something i can warm up would be nice to have at my finger tips. Thank You again!

Yan Wang Hey I know I’m not Bobby but I’m a second time mom! Holle and Hipp are fantastic formulas if money is not an issue. They are not US formula (I live in the US) but they’re great for baby :) US formulas are sort of shady not gonna lie but fed is best when it comes to your baby I always say! Other formulas in the US that are better than others offered here are plum, earths best, baby’s only, and the honest co. Edit:Oh I’ve also heard of Kabrita being pretty good aswell (correct me if I’m wrong but I do not think it’s a US brand either but you can still order online) for baby’s who have intolerance to cow milk. Goats milk is most similar to breast milk. It’s a better alternative than soy IMO.

On the oil ingredient on Amy’s it had “and/or” Safflower. Read the label carefully!

I shop just like this guy, exactly but I won't buy anything with any kind of canola oil. Gardein used to have amazing chicken sliders with no canola oil & they're so yummy but i can't find them anymore. Amy's continues to impress me & they are my first pick. Tip: make your own fries & pizza, the choices in the frozen section is crap. Canola oil is basically motor oil, organic or not! It's used to kill bacteria, not to help the consumer. Thomas Delaur has an excellent video on canola oil. It gives many people with sensitive digestive problems diarrhea.
