I can't tell you how hyped I am for Ikoria. Blue/green is not only one of (if not the most) powerful color combination now in MTG, but it's also prominent in Kiora and Ikoria's design and lore. On top of that, we're also getting our commander pre-cons during this set with all new cards perfect for the format. With all this in mind, I immediately thought to build Kruphix. I don't doubt that the new behemoths will be amazing and synergize incredibly well, but Kruphix just seems like the perfect behemoth slinging commander for me at the moment.

Just started listening today, loving the podcast so far, though at 51:00 the guys make a mistake. Having both Seedborn and Prophet in play will only result in one untap per opponent's turn as neither is a triggered ability (i.e. uses the words "when" "whenever" or "at"). Both have _static_ abilities that don't use the stack and as such happen simultaneously.

Kozilek, The Great Distortion makes this deck type so much more powerful. If you can pull the discarded spells back or discard madness spells. If you throw in alhammarret's archive and Praetors council it turns into a Vulgar Display of power.

I have a Kruphix edh since little after the card was released, just instant loved it. And since then always treated Kruphix as a she (kinda agender I thought but feminine), I'm baffled by this podcast and hear she's actually a he, I've been living a lie.

How are tuck effects like hinder scary? You can put him into the command zone either way.

This was before the Tuck Rule change. Back then, if your commander went into your library you couldn't put it into the command zone.

hello I have a question that I have been trying to get answers to and or rulings on a card I would be very appreciative of someone could help.

My question is the card Kruphix , God of the Horizon the card states that mana that is unused is turned into colorless mana. due to the new rule switch when Oath of the Gatewatch came out with the wastes. So is the mana now turn to general mana or actual colorless that could be used to play some eldrazi cards? I'd be be very happy if I could get help with this.

what? How? I mean... how? I't not like with Emrakul where it was goddess of merfolks, the whole plane of Theros is devotion - based with gods being 100% real and seperate beings.

Un ban Prophet of Kruphix.... it dies to a lighting bolt....

Amyas80s Unban Biorythm, it can get countered =P. Prophet is banned because it warps the meta around who can copy, clone and/or reanimate it the most. Same with green Titan, the Primordial and others.
