D smoke killed his performance. He did a Hollywood performance. However, Flawless outdid him by speaking and connecting everyone’s heart. No other song out there connects with your heart no matter how cold you are. I’m a tough dude but damn this guy is able to speak to so many different audiences. His rhymes were so good too. This was a tear jerker, every time I see it, my eyes swell up.. I'm 47 now, but this right here would've been my fav song of all time, if I heard it in my teenage years, at my age my heart has gotten colder, and this song got through still.

I don't listen to rap but was curious of the shoe I watched and kept watching to till the end. I'm glad I did. This guy gave a great performance in my opinion, I could feel his pain this rap was so heart felt. My eyes filled with tears, I could listen to this message repeatedly. That's exactly what it was a true message, he made his family proud and definitely shined in his daugther eyes!

Wow.. flawless was really my favorite from the beginning to end, and even tho he didn’t win, my goodness I’ll forever listen to his music. Flawless really just connected to me and i just couldn’t stop feeling that feeling that was left behind after listening to his music, the passion, the hope, the fight, the love, etc etc. So I truly hope he gets the attention he deserves.

Only one that didn’t get the “we work together after this” from the producer was flawless... Why??? All 4 was ready for this but if you look over all Flawless was the most complete artist... He made no mistakes, no fails, he was flawless...
