I use a soldering iron to make vent holes but I feel like it would be soooo much easier to punch a hole and put one of those vents in. And I wouldn’t be exposing myself to the fumes even though I do it outside. When/if I get anymore critters, I will be placing an order for some of these vents. Thank you for the video! ❤

I'm using those on some of my bins. They are better than the metal vents in that they don't rust and you can remove them and pop a new 1 in whenever the gecko soils them. My only complaint for them is that they don't close far enough on a 6qt tub. There is a gap between the 2 pieces of the ring. Not a major thing but there is a certain amount of build-up that occurs.
