A son asks his mother why she sometimes borrows salt or candles from their neighbors. The mother replies, "I do this to make them feel valued. Our neighbors are poor and have little for themselves. Your father helps them out occasionally, and I send them cake when we bake at home. They should not feel like they are only receiving. By giving us salt and other items, they experience the satisfaction of being needed. That day, the wealthy boy learns how to remain humble without patronizing those in need. In a similar vein, Ben helps elderly citizens by cleaning their gardens and pressure washing their driveways. The elderly, and sometimes even their neighbors, offer him beverages and biscuits in return. Peggy and Jim, who are beneficiaries of Ben’s selfless service, know they cannot repay his kindness. Ben, who is genuinely compassionate, shows his gratitude by graciously accepting a cup of tea or some refreshments. P.S.: His dad is another gem of a person. I love his humor and the great bond he shares with his son.

Beautiful fence and gate you guys put up! Fixing up the rain roof over the front door is so nice too. You guys did a beautiful job on Peggy's garden. Wow that was a lot of shoveling but now it looks so nice! When you powerwash it in the end it will look fantastic. And flowers to come. You guys Ben are just amazing! You give your time and money and care, it is truly awesome! And Jim bringing you food to keep you energized lol!! He is such a grand person. Take care of yourselves and stay hydrated! You can eat the donuts Ben because you just burn them off lol!!

An absolutely amazing job you’re all doing for Peggy. It must have been heartbreaking for her to see all her hard work being overtaken by brambles. You three really do deserve medals for “care in the community “ . God bless you all,xxx

Aww, watching Peggy show you the photos of how her garden used to look was so sad. You could see how beautiful it used to be and how proud she was. You are all doing such a wonderful job not only in the work you are doing to the gardens but what you are also doing to Peggy and Jim’s mental health. You can see how they are changing, it’s like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders. Jim is such a lovely man and true gentleman, very caring. Really enjoyed the longer video ❤

Ben, you, your Dad and everyone else on your team have made such a difference in Peggy's life (Jim's too!) I really enjoy seeing the longer episode. Can't wait to see how it all turns out! God Bless you all!

Please tell Paul & your Mum thank you so much for raising such a wonderful caring son. They did a great job & deserve all the praise. Also, what I wouldn't give to have that closed in space for my vegetable garden!!!! Maybe even a couple of fruit trees. Flowers in the front garden for beauty, but vegetables in the back for eating. Absolutely my dream! Thank you for sharing & I'm looking forward to many more videos.

What another amazing shift in the transformation! I love that Peggy's now got a private fenced off space and can't wait to see what happens to it next. Jim is an absolute diamond for bringing you all the supplies, repaying the kindness all round. Looking forward to the next instalment with him. I have been watching you all repair this home & the thankfulness of esp. the gentleman… then I switch to watching the D-Day remembrances & see the younger folks celebrating the elders! This fellow probably played a part in that history & has survived to be blessed by those who have gained from the gallantry of their sacrifices! Bless you all for exhibiting that they indeed didn’t protect all our freedoms for nothing!
