You should try using a daiwa reel with the monocoque design. For a spinning reel I notice it has a lot of torque to muscle fish compared to other reels I used.

I almost feel bad for giving this up but I’ve seen this place so many times, just never from the water side. Upper keys... like way upper. Fishing in FL my whole life you recognize certain patterns. These super short mangroves in clear skinny water only occur in 2 or 3 places.
