Great score Brother George! Something about those old stove-heaters...I can envision an old boy in his mining shack keeping warm by one of those. Looking forward to seeing the restore on that one! A black fire enamel paint would make that POP! GL HH!

Wow George , i had my fingers crossed the inside wasn't rusty , and even thou you classed it as scrungy , i think thats in great condition , easy clean and itll loook a1 . $30 great price for that lot and in the 'off' season too !

Hey Jim, It is in good shape and I'll get it all done up as soon as the weather gets warm enough to do the painting. You know that heat proof paint doesn't cure good when it's cold. I can't complain about this lot. I'll catch up with you later lol! 🤣. @toolrestoration

I think you did good on this haul, that Proto deep rail made it worth while. I’m a sucker for full totes, buckets, and tool bags. I could sit for hours sorting and cleaning. I payed up for my last bulk tool lot, I kept a boat load of good stuff, and I should be able to sell the overflow for about what I payed for all of it. There’s a little work involved but it’s like getting free tools. I’ve gotten a good portion of my collection this way, it keeps my costs down. Good find, thanks.

Mike,Mike,Mike! The wood stove is keeping me plenty warm I'm actually surprised how much heat it's putting out. I think the little heater is gonna go on our patio or just kept for back up heat. My Proto collection is filling out . It's still going to be hit and miss for the vendors for the few weeks but it's looking up. Don't let the man get ya down! Take care Brother!

Great haul. Lots of Proto stuff. Even used they command high prices around here, so I would say you did really well just on the Protos alone. But you got alot of other cool stuff too. Big bargain day. I like the S wrench. It will clean up nicely.

Some very interesting things you're finding I would take the real garbage things and start practicing making some tramp art I would think you should be able to get more for a creation of yours then bag of cheep tools you need things to practice on once you get going a bit more mabey Etsy or ebay you may just become a great sales men

Hi George, another great haul. Sadly, my Great Aunt had one of those heaters. She had a fatal heart attack, and dropped dead, knocking her heater over - you can imagine the consequences - my poor Dad had to go and identify her. Nice perfection heater. Do you know the model? I bought one similar to yours at a flea market last summer . Mine is blue enamel with some nickel trim. The nickel finish is not good. The tank is all brass . Turns out it has some splits in the tank. Not sure if it can be soldered . It seems like it may be brittle. Looking forward to your restoration of that perfection.

Yes! you did fine George!! but the only wrench of any interest was the one you call an S wrench that was froze up, all that other junk is a dime a dozen.
