The Western was my favorite find, I thought it was a Shrade until I got it home and really looked, tang stamp isn’t very deep. Still don’t know why someone would tape the handle like that but it protected it! Merry Christmas!

Sweeeeet💪 I knew you were gonna find some goodies 😎. Lotta life left in that old hunting knife. I agree-it’s a good candidate to customize it into a Bird & Trouter👍. Awesome score on the Henkles --and killer old Western 39 score!!!!

I'm new to your channel and I will be watching more. I'm a avid collector and hooked on many knife channels. If you are a fan of other people you will know I end ever text with God Bless America 🇺🇸 because we have to remember that 😊

That first knife had the same pattern as the WWII army issue, the one I have has steel rivets and U.S. Camillus stamped on the blade. The order was for 77,000 and most had the brass rivets. Thanks for video.

Nice finds buddy! If you've traveled around the southeast, I may be the reason you can't find many Old Hickory Butcher knives 😆 I collect old hickory and I have several butcher knives and a few of the pig stickers. I really dig your taste, man. Keep up the great work.

Can’t blame you, I think garage sales are going to be the only place for finding them at a good price! I just bought 4 Green River blade blanks on EBay, new old stock carbon, looking forward to making handles and sheaths for them! Thanks and thanks for watching!

Do you remember the VW slogan entitled 'Farfegnugen'? I dont recall whether late 80's or early 90's, but those knives were sales remembrance pieces from VW. Glad to hear you had a good day.

Great deal, the guy selling it wasn’t interested in knives, he’s more of a small engine guy. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

Greetings from a Tiny Island in Maine, USA Fantastic finds! That Western is looking in good shape. I just posted a video with 3 hunting knives and 1 looks almost the same. Looking forward to seeing the results

I thought of that but it is the exact same dimensions as my usa made Boy Scout hatchet, like one is a replica of the other? Anyway, it straightened very easily, thanks for watching!
