Hey Matt, I know you’ve tried it previously with the postage of a single DVD, but I think you can pocket more money from a sale by putting them in a standard A5 envelope with stamps. Totally understand using tracking for the expensive DVD’s and video games. I recall you saying you prefer the peace of mind that you can track when the parcel arrives etc but for a DVD sale under $30 in a track envelope seems a waste. Every dollar counts in this current climate. No criticism just my thoughts on those dvd and video game sales below $30
@danneukirch44863 ай бұрын
That's my thoughts exactly too. Although I use the bubble envelopes. I've learnt from Matt's videos they're not really needed though.

Lego's by weight usually sell for $25 per kilo on Marketplace. Minifigs are worth a bit more. But you also want to be careful as sometimes there are random non-Lego toys included like that winged angel you were holding. Most of the Lego parts have the LEGO logo on each stud.

That Lego lot at $30 even for me as a full time Lego seller would be a pass. Unless it is a very deep box I would not be looking to pay more then $10-$15. That is for me looking at hopefully being in the ballpark of $80-$200 in individual part value. (There are a lot of assumptions there from the 3-4 seconds of video) There are definitely times that a box like that I would be happy to pay $30 or even more. But it takes being able to quickly assess what you are seeing. The problem is the shops will at times work out what the set might be, but invariably, they will never take the time to check completeness and so far I have never come away with a complete set with all the parts. But have picked up lots for $50-$150 that I have found a lot great value in. My rule of thumb is $5-$20 per kg is preferred and I am closer to $5 for friends, random parts or if it looks to have a lot of other stuff in. Closer to $20 if there looks to be plenty of figures and themes like Star wars or if I can see potential of higher value sets.

There is per kg price for Lego but it depends on factors such as whether it includes minifigures or not. Also Star Wars Lego per kg is probably more than Friends Lego which you showed in that tub.

Why did you list your sign with no photos of it working and only 3 days? A 5 day 99cent start auction would have had so many eyes and bidders… you will never going to lose on that

it shouldn't go by the weight most shops what do it that is that catch it's a shop they had to get the money up to pay the cost of the shop in the people who worked there and organized it we start off with a little bit of books the top of LEGO is pulled apart to the point where no sits are half built to help out with disordering and roughly work out what sets are involved in that collection if it was a 30-l tub almost touching to the top of the lead of LEGO an inside with might have some other toys black nerf bullets and Hot wheel cars straws scared when I don't say that type of stuff I like tell me they cleaned it and put it in other toys like Beyblades what LEGO has used on the Ninjago Lego should be out of $50 ancient think about title is if it's a kid Lego collection same deal if it was a 60-liter tub and I have no big road plates for base plates that size for the big modules it only worth $100 but if the person can show why his Lego collections worth as much as his article in a couple different minifigs out of a 30 or 60 litre tub pull up mini figs and animals and any of the wonderful sit parts
