I am so glad to see you got back to this series! Fleabag reminds me of someone I was in a long term relationship with so your analysis is really helpful for me. In the last episode that you analysed I was intrigued by you mentioning the biological mix of adreneline and cortisol that Fleabag seems to be pursuing with her promiscuity and I would love to hear more about how that works.

Hi. I'm a 68-year-old, lifelong, single Guy in London. I am enjoying your reactions, thus far, and your analysis of a wonderful 12 Part Series. Phoebe and the whole cast are exceptional though we will have to disagree on one thing. :) I am assuming the Father is in his 60s and on that doorstep scene that you highlighted,I believe he felt awkward and because he is aware of the personalities of his current Lady and Fleabag, he asked her not to go upstairs @2amknowing she was there.. The comment about that list of negative character traits that Fleabag listed led him to archetypal English dry humour, usually, executed with a wry smile or performed deadpan. He was defusing the awkwardness as many Men do with a joke (you get that from your Mother)..That does not, necessarily, mean that the Late Mother had some or any of those traits but he just made a joke to avoid giving a serious response, especially in that situation. I am pretty sure that if he lived alone then he would have been much more welcoming.. No spoilers but as the series progresses, it's fair to see we see the reason why more and more. See you in the next episode and I have Subscribed.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge on Fleabag: "Yeah, i think she’s using a certain type of honesty as a weapon of distraction. She talks very openly and honestly about sex so you feel like she’s being open with you when, actually, she’s completely hiding by doing that. She’s distracting you from a completely different side of her, which is the side that’s traumatized and in pain. I think in being honest to a ‘t’ about one aspect of your life, you can give the illusion that you are confiding in somebody. She’s using it to be dishonest in a different way, by hiding."

Totally! Exactly what I was thinking when I was watching this reaction, specially when she was talking about the self sabotage and self awareness-yet-no-actual-accountability that Fleabag shows. Bojack hits every jackpot and it would be very interesting to analyze another incredibly broken character.

Given its psychological complexity, I would propose her next show should 100% be Succession - I would love to see her breakdown especially of some scenes in this most recent season. Anyone agree?

YES! I've just found your channel and your first Fleabag video, I'm SO happy that you're further deeper into this show!! I think this is the first channel I've seen that caught the "it won't work *this time*" Harry throws at Fleabag in the first episode. Your perspective on these characters is so great, can't wait to see more of it! Oh, if you're open to suggestions, I'd love to see some of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend in here. It's a longer show, but mental health is such an important topic there that I think it would be nice to see a professional like you react to it.

So glad you're reacting to Fleabag, it's a great show, love Phoebe Waller Bridge, and after this maybe you can react to Killing Eve, it deals with lots of emotions and relationships. Phoebe created the 1st season (the best one), tho s4 is not great, but S1-3 is really worth watching. Just mind boggling to me still how I was (so a lot of other ppl) so rooting for a cold blooded killer :), so would looove to see your intake on it.
