So glad to hear you talk about garlic for dogs. I learned about garlic for dogs as a kid but the internet has people thinking it's poison. Granted, too much of any medication can make it a poison but wow, garlic is great for dogs. I wouldn't worry about people complaining about you selling things. Some people will want to buy your products to thank you for the free information and because your probably sell a better quality product than amazon.

For inside the house hoovering and using a floor and upholstery steam cleaner is more than efficient kills them bad boys outright you can use on pet beds your bed and most furnishings That way, it is only costing you water & electricity and your time without using nasty chemicals and saving you a fortune at the same time and maybe a quick sguirt of lavender because those bad boys can't stand the smell and helps keep them away x

I’m not sure putting essential oils on a pet that licks itself is a good idea. If it’s not good for us to ingest, how could it be good for them? I boil citrus fruits with a couple different herbs, let it steep overnight & spray it on my cat & he’s flea free. It’s kept in the refrigerator so it doesn’t get rancid. I alternate that spray with coconut oil rubdowns. I haven’t seen a flea since I started doing this & this area is heavily infested.😊
@kylelapree7677

You dillute the essential oil with a carrier agent. Can you say what herbs you use? Essential Oils are just the extract of herbs so its not much different from what you are doing. When used in this way it is purrfectly fine and not dangerous. Just take the time to research the ratios and test on a spot of the cat to test before applying to the whole cat

For over 30 years, I thought the natural methods I had been using with my dogs to prevent fleas was working. Then we got a flea infestation. For FIVE YEARS I battled fleas. I vacuumed daily. I treated every crack and crevice with salt. I spread borax on carpets, let it sit for 30 minutes, then vacuumed it up. I washed all people and pet beds daily. I sprayed flea-repelling EO's on my dogs. I used a flea comb on my dogs every time they went outdoors (a dozen times a day!), dipping the flea combs in soapy water if they pulled off any fleas to kill the fleas. I sprayed the yard with soapy water, especially in shady areas weekly, and then spread DE (specifically sold as an insecticide) everywhere in the yard after it had dried. And we STILL had fleas! I decided to find out if the DE was even effective, so I put some fleas in a baby food jar with some DE in the jar, and a week later, the fleas were STILL alive. Turns out that DE is only effective against soft-bodied insects, like flea larvae. (Which is a good reason why you shouldn't apply DE to your pet, because it doesn't repell fleas, and it doesn't kill the adult fleas that get on your pet.) I resorted to a topical flea chemical, and while it cut down on the fleas, we STILL had fleas. Then the city came and removed all the feral cats in the neighborhood, after a little girl was killed by a car swerving to miss hitting a feral cat running across the road. And suddenly, the fleas were gone. The feral cats were spreading the fleas into our yard. Squirrels are rarely the source of fleas, and in fact, can reduce flea problems. But the feral cats had killed all the squirrels. Squirrels are also one of the primary predators of mice, and we had developed a major mice infestation. And the mice were spreading the fleas. The feral cats killed all the songbirds in the area. (It was strangely silent in our neighborhood for five years.) Songbirds will eat fleas. The feral cats killed all the rabbits in the area. Rabbits rarely spread fleas. The songbirds killed all the snakes in the area. Snakes kill the mice that spread fleas. But for some damn reason, the feral cats ignored the mice. When the city removed the feral cats, the songbirds came back, the snakes came back, the squirrels came back, the rabbits came back, and within a few weeks, the flea problem stopped. The thing that bothers me the most about all of this is that I learned that the feral cat population was maintained by local volunteers using a spay-and-release program, but the feral cats kept growing in number. It turns out that they only become territorial when females have kittens, or intact males are still able to impregnate fertile females. And in the meantime, cats are normally communal, so feral cats will seek out groups of other feral cats, and the cat population will continue to grow, in spite of a spay-and-release program, until the number of feral cats outstrips the available food in the area. But people were leaving out cat food for the feral cats, so they didn't have an incentive to stop attracting more feral cats. But cats are also one of the species that will kill just for fun, so they used people's bird feeders as targets to pick off the local song bird population. And ironically, they only hunted during the day, so they missed all the mice that are nocturnal. Not a week went by that we didn't have car accidents in the community because of people trying to dodge feral cats running across the road. They would get in cat fights outside my bedroom window in the middle of the night. They would use my potted plants as litter boxes, and spray my front door with urine, marking their territory. And they were traveling the neighborhood daily, spreading fleas everywhere they went. After the feral cats were gone, some bobcats moved into the neighborhood. They didn't spread fleas. They didn't kill all the songbirds. They didn't kill all the snakes. They didn't kill all the squirrels. They didn't kill all the rabbits. But they did keep the mice population under control very nicely, because they are primarily nocturnal hunters. (Birds, and snakes, and squirrels, and rabbits are all primarily awake during the day.) Nature is much better at managing flea problems than artificially created environments where house cats, which are not native to the area, are allowed to be outdoor cats, drawing feral cats into the area. And contrary to popular belief, house cats are primarily awake during the daytime, which is why they missed hunting the mice. (My dogs do a better job of catching mice than any of my cats ever have.) The city banned outdoor cats, and ordered hefty fines for people violating the law. And they have stopped the spay-and-release program in our neighborhood, and just get rid of any feral cats that show up. And we haven't had a flea problem, ever since. But we have had problems with ticks, because we walk our dogs in a local park that has a stream running through it, and the city is not allowed to use pesticides near the stream. I was picking a dozen ticks off my dogs every time we took them for walks. But then I discovered brewer's yeast and garlic. And the day after I started giving my dogs brewer's yeast and garlic, we have not had a single tick since. The ticks ended so abruptly that it couldn't have been for any other reason than the brewer's yeast and garlic. I don't know why I didn't learn about brewer's yeast and garlic back when we were having the flea infestation, so I don't know how effective it might have been to repel fleas on my dogs. But it certainly seems to be effective at repelling the ticks in our area. It also repels mosquitoes. I've heard people who didn't have any luck with brewer's yeast and garlic repelling ticks in their area, so it might have to do with the particular species of ticks in your area. We have mainly dog ticks and Lone Star ticks in our area. But we've had our current dogs on brewer's yeast and garlic for the last three years, and it's been very effective at preventing ticks on our dogs.

@VeronicaMarce Thank you! I'll look into that. I brought in 2 feral cats that were bonded & unfortunately brought Giardia in with them. I never heard of that before. I unfortunately didn't know how bad the medicine was either. So we did a round of metronidazole & 2 rounds of panacur. I've learned a lot about metronidazole how bad it is & I'll ever use again!! Only one good thing about this experience is that it sent me on a path to holistic & species appropriate diets for my babies. Switching to raw & giving them S. Boulardi has had a tremendous impact on the diarrhea sympton, but they have really stinky poo with some blood still & sometimes some very mooch, mucus. I can't let them out of my spare bedroom to roam my home freely or my other cat will get it. It breaks my heart. I feel sick not knowing how to get rid of it. It's damaged their gut biome. I have them on fecal transplant but I feel like it's a never ending cycle if I can't get rid of Giardia. I fear I may never because of those buggers ability to live out of the body for so long. Most say you must bleach EVERYTHING down. Well that's not happening in their only living space. That's toxic. And how do you sterilize carpets & Upholstery..... Ack, sorry for the rant. 😿 Super grateful to have another option to try. 🙏

I’ve had to take metronidazole myself. Why do you say it’s toxic? It can’t be any more toxic than giardia. It’s short term, give probiotics. Panacur has FENBENDAZOLE and found to cure (?) some cancers in humans. I’m all about what’s healthy for pets. We have to remember all science isn’t bad. We made advances in our own health because of science. Use with caution but geez if it’s the fix why keep battling??

Elderberry can be given for 15 days on and 15 days off for lower respiratory infections. Steaming everything will kill most bacteria and viruses. My heart is with you. I adopted a cat from a feral community that was covered in sores. I discovered she had allergies to grains and certain cleaning products. She now is healthy fat with the softest fur you ever felt. Keep reading and learning; you will find the answer. God Bless.

So many animals have become hypersensitive because of vaccines and corn in cat and dog foods. Try grain free foods or make it and freeze in bags. You can make big batches and freeze for daily feeding for up to 2 years. Lots of recipes online that are free. I also had a cat that had all her vaccines and became hypersensitive. I feed her lots of fish, meat with sweet potatoes, kale or leafy green vegetables. I also include cranberries for kidneys. Her sores disappeared and her fur is super soft and shinny now. I also gave her probiotics with digestive enzymes with a pinch of sting nettle in her food daily for her allergies.

You can test to see if you have fleas by making or buying a flea trap. Water in a plate with a few drops of dish soap to break the water’s surface tension so the fleas will drown. Place trap near where pets sleep with a lamp above it. Fleas are attracted to the heat of the lamp and fall into the water and drown. Good luck!
