Fledgling-Parent Time - JB Sands Wetland Ctr : Mom, Dad, JBS20 (RIP JBS21) (5/17)

Today, our young fledgling spent lots of time at the nesting site, with one of their parents.
With many of our Florida eaglets off to their fresh starts in eagle life, it's such a treat to still be seeing so much of JBS20. Things are obviously going pretty well around here, and I'm sure that the off-tower adventures are epic!
JBS20 Hatched: 1/26/24
JBS21 Hatched: 1/27/24
(Presumed) JBS21 RIP: 1/31/24

There's a movie called red skies of montana ,Richard Boone is seen in a plane using a big and I do mean a big megaphone to yell out of the window of the plane orders to his smokejumpers who put out forest fires.i think if that little eaglet had squeak through that the whole world had heard him.😆

JBS20 has always been a LOUD eaglet! Every now & then, we even catch a little echo - that's always fun. LOL

Wow, thats alot of squeeing! JBS20 sounds really excited or hungry! I am not familiar with this nest....what happened to JBS21?

JBS20 is one of the loudest eaglets I've ever heard! His/her sibling passed away on the nest fairly soon after hatch date - s/he fell over on its back and couldn't right itself. :(

@@WingsOfWhimsy followed as many nest as I can but new to some even this one.sorry about the eaglet that didn't make it we have had a lot of heartbreak in several nests this year .
