How can we unlock ships ?

Tap on the league in the main menu. There, you can see in which league each the unit may be opened.

I suggest you make more chapters in campaign not adding another unit

Actually ships were required for the next chapters, that's why we added them first (before the new heroes, T4 units, etc). Chapters are in progress at the same time, next one is soon to come.
