Morming. Awesome “Toolbox”. Love it. So does FDNY require so many years of engine & ladder experience to be on one of these rescue crews or do guys get assigned straight out of the academy? Thanks. - Retired Deputy Fire Chief here from Missouri.

Just a question... do you know why they stick with Seagrave for engines and trucks but never do you see a Seagrave rescue?
@SkylerFire4 ай бұрын
It goes by the cheapest bid and the spec… the next rescues are more then likely going to be Seagrave after all the issues with the Ferrara rescues.

Hey Skyler, great video, but I had a question. I did not see a lot of cribbing on rescue 5. Do the rescues not run with a lot of it or did I just miss it? Thanks!
@SkylerFire4 ай бұрын
So each rescue is based off their response area on how much they go to them. Rescue 1 has more because they do a lot of scaffolding incidents. Thats usually what rescues keep enough for. Anything else the Collapse Rescue goes to the call. Each rescue has one.

Genesis also can use non propriety batteries (Milwaukee) which are a lot cheaper to replace meaning more spares for longer jobs at a fraction of the cost, also the handles turn to get into better positions.
