actually, he really doesnt. Fleetway super sonic is from a different comic series than the archie comics. Sonic does not even need the emeralds to transform into him. He absorbed the chaos emeralds power one time to transform afterwards the power basically was inside him all the time. Whenever sonic gets too angry or stressed he transforms into fleetway version of super sonic. Basically hellbent on destruction and chaos and will kill anyone in his path. The only reason he goes back to normal is because sonic manages to suppress him over time.

It could be very well possible that goku and vegeta decided not to fuse due to their saiyan pride and all, but now with fleetaway, it doesn't seem like they have any choice. I especially like that there is no explanation given to why things went this way. Gotta love that. For Buu, traveling hundreds or more times light speed is easy l, Buu has existed for millions of years and his body is practically indestructible. As a genuine fan, it would have been nice to get some education as to why. I mean, Buu can absorb being through his playto like body and takeover their characteristics.

You know Fleetway Sonic is capable of moving faster than time without Super Form. That's infinite times faster than light since Light Speed is frozen in time and everything Sonic does is *Instantaneous* like Ultra Instinct. Super Form also make Fleetway Sonic indestructible and can absorbs energy from anything until there is nothing left.

Yeah but the only way to actually get rid of fleetway for good is to unbind him from Sonic (and Buu in this case) and wait until his chaos energy runs out (which took around 2 years in the fleetway comics). If Buu absorbed Sonic it would merely be a temporary defeat that would immediately backfire if Buu ever got close to a source of chaos energy or made Sonic feel an extreme amount of stress (which would probably happen right after Sonic wakes up and realizes that he has been absorbed which is possible since when Vegito got absorbed he was still conscious). It's actually safer to let Fleetway free roam until he runs out of chaos energy then trap him inside of Sonic's body and then trapping Sonic inside of Buu's body. So even if Buu did absorb Sonic (and Fleetway at the same time since he inhabits Sonic's body) it wouldn't really help him. Not to mention that absorbing Fleetway would most likely be extremely difficult.

Nah Buu is screwed. But Fleetway Sonic doesn't have access to chaos control because the fleetway comics stopped before they got to cover SA2. Which makes him the least powerful Super Sonic variant. However beating him would still be difficult even by DBS standards. Chaos energy is still extremely powerful, when Fleetway was defused from Sonic he was able to survive for years despite being made from nothing but Chaos energy which means that he has an tremendous energy supply. You could theoretically wait until he begins dying but i doubt that he would just be allowed to free roam for years doing whatever he wants. Realistically he would probably be engaged as soon as possible which would essentially make everyone fight him at full power. And waiting for years (i believe that it took around 3 years and a few weeks for him to actually begin dying) is not exactly acceptable with a maniac that craves destruction. And Buu isn't the type to run away and wait so he would most likely challenge him from the start which wouldn't end well for him.
