Happened to me. I grew up supporting Ipswich (despite not being from there) - left country the year we went up in 2000. Drifted off. Ironically came back to the UK, move to Flyde coast... play with Blackpool FC community... but now season ticket holder at Fleetwood for last 4 years . Definitely has the "proper football" feel.
