It’s really Stevie Nicks who wants him to do it, both Neil and Stevie have admit that Stevie loved Neil’s work (part of why she wanted him in the band) and that she wanted to make sure they preformed it same for the early Fleetwood Mac stuff like Tell me all the things you do and Man of the world

I think Fleetwood Mac made the right decision -- Neil Finn can write, play & sing and some of his songs will indeed work with Fleetwood Mac. His first band Split Enz' "I Got You," (a hit for them) is excellent. It's like a new song. Fate has a funny way of working things out. There's a whole generation of ears that never heard "I Got You" and Stevie's voice is a great addition. Make a freaking album. Finn's chemistry with Nicks on stage is also marvelous.

Finn has never been a global super star (though when Crowded House first broke up they played to close to 250,00 at a gig in Sydney Harbour), so still has fire in his belly. He has written some astonishing songs that would blow the FM audience away (Private Universe, Fingers of Love, Silent House) - deep pounding rhythm for Mick and great guitar parts for Mike and melodies to die for. But the future is exciting. Everyone involved must be thrilled to see how well it’s come together, and where it could go.

According to Wikipedia, footnoted in a book about the event and the official concert release notes: ."[5] The concert attracted a crowd of greater than 100,000 people,[6] with some estimates of 250,000 people in attendance.[7]" But never trust Wikipedia, or KZbin comments : ) REPLY

Yeah no criticism of the past tours but I see her getting engaged with it all which is good. Last tour she and Lindsey would do their little act for the crowd but if you looked at clips - the same every show. Down to same mannerisms etc each time. She probably has more freedom and is less restrained without him, can have more fun. I actually think this song is good for the Mac - sharp hooks but darker underlayer. Rock on Stevie :)
