I fell in love with Stevie Nicks the very first time that I heard this song, which was b4 Stevie & Lindsey joined Fleetwood Mac. I ran right out to the record & bought their very first album "Buckingham Nicks" which featured this song. Has a side profile nude pic of Stevie on the album cover. I still have the album, & listen to this song often. I was born in 1956 and feel so fortunate to have grown up in the greatest era of music ever !!!

Landslide is about the end of their relationship I thought. No way it was before they joined Fleetwood Mac.

Stevie Nicks wrote Landslide while Lindsay Buckingham was touring with Don Everly I believe. It wasn't released until she joined Fleetwood Mac.

Wildheart, Thanks for the heart. Yes, her voice is perfect. I guess I'm surprised the recording is so good. Find that Alabama concert. It's less polished, but still fantastic. When did you become a fan?

Probably about three year ago. I love Stevie Nicks so much, her voice is one of a kind! No one can ever have a voice like her.

@@Wildheart-bk5xh When I was a kid (the 70's) the first album that was mine (not my brother's or sister's) was Rumours. So I've been a fan for long time and I prefer the old stuff. That's why this was a find.

Music does not get better than this, the most beautiful expressive meaningful lyrics matched so perfectly by the voice of an angel, and all that layered on top of an acoustic bed of brilliance perfectly played by one of the gods of the guitar.

That's a heroic editing job you did, attempting to match the footage to the audio! Only a close look reveals the footage isn't for the song. Which reminds me, I know the concert you took the B&W footage from and they *did* perform "Landslide" on that night, yet it was one of the few songs that (inexplicably) wasn't filmed...you did a great service attempting to reconstruct it as it might have looked!

I have seen Stevie singing Landslide in concert twice in the past few years, but her voice in 1975 is in a totally different galaxy, those years between the Fritz Rabyne and Rumours are un-matched and un-matcheable by any other singer, including Grace and Janis, and post-1978 Stevie
