Man, the Oslo performance video of this that was removed was my favorite youtube video period. I wish they'd allow it back on.

@badgeeater - You may think that is true badgeeater, but I know many, many people here in the U.S. who don't think of anything else but the original Fleetwood Mac incarnation(s) as a great band. To me, Fleetwood started fading as a force after Then Play On. I have the original vinyl to prove it. Sadly though, you are correct. The majority of Americans aren't familiar with the best of F.M.

I was there! Blown away by the good live sound (hard to understand from this video). Remember a small guitarist with curly hair almost being obscured by huge ORANGE amps/speakers. That must have been Jeremy Spencer. And then of course... Peter Green.

@badgeeater > Those of us in the States who love the Blues and know of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac refer to Stevie Nicks as "What's her name". But yeah, so many people dont realize what they were before becoming a Pop Band. Too bad for them. I am proud to say I saw them at the Boston Tea Party in 1970.

Saw them at the Fillmore East and around the East Coast back then. Peter Green at that time was the most underrated, underappreciated guitarist of that era. His soulfulness was missed by the psychodelic crowd. Green, in his most soulful solos was a white BB King. Fleetwood Mac evolved from an amazing English blues band with Peter Green to a very good pop band with Buckingham\Nicks. Mick didn't have much of a choice - there wasn't much around to come into the band. Different feel.

I wish Peter Green had never left the band. They were so good together.

I have some edits of Feetwood Mac recorded from BBC, TV. Also some classic edits of "David Gilmore & John Martyn" (R.I.P.) which I would like to upload. But I fear that the 'copyright creeps' will crush my edits for copy right infringment. Its not easy for me to make a new KZbin channel, as I am new too the internet. If someone really knows the score...please give advice as to what you can & cannot get away with...in terms of editing something recorded from TV. Thanks.

@Frizzvisions30 > Sales of their material says otherwise. But, yeah as compared to the blues power they were......................... Too bad Peter and Danny lost it mentally. Imagine what we missed out on had they kept it together.

Really? You can't compare a cover to the original. You just can't. Its an unwritten rule.
