One simple thing, Nicks craves attention while Christie was content in her own world. Not pulling Nicks or McVie just two very different people plus McVie was a part of the band making all around contributions for years even doing album artwork, writing songs and performing. Nicks while liking the attention isn't mean or hateful, she was always willing to share the spotlight. The real story is how this band was able to have two incredibly gifted ladies of rock and not implode. Credit to one is credit to the other I think.

Hi Dan, Thanks so much for sharing your and Karen Ann's story. This music and Fleetwood Mac have a special vibe and energy which is so memorable and, in your case the wonderful thing is that you can return often to revisit all of the sounds and emotions that you both enjoyed so much. May God Bless you and keep you forever together, now when you come to watch the YT videos and in time to come when you leave this place to return to your Karen Ann once more. I had a slightly similar such occurrence with the lass who was my 1st true love and we, too, revelled together enjoying all FM music from the early 70's onward. I totally empathise and come back regularly just as yourself. Take care as you move forward on your journey.

Stevie Nicks makes a good backing vocalist. Christine is stellar!
@fastfootedone4 жыл бұрын
you're trolling right? Stevie Nicks is arguably the greatest female vocalist ever
@gabrielpatten69394 жыл бұрын
Its because her voice has migrated into a deeper range over the years. It compliments a lighter voice like a bass does a guitar.
@anthonyeisberner68124 жыл бұрын
@@fastfootedone That's a huge arguably. She may be the most unique vocalist in the female realm but I don't think anyone can, conceivably, consider her the best ever. Whitney Houston, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey off the top of my head. Nicks and Riatt have my vote for two of the most unique and resonating sounds but, in regards to pure vocals Nicks isn't at the same level of so many others.
@ckuehncnwhsyt4 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyeisberner6812 Mariah Carey? Hardly. The others you mentioned off the top of your head are indeed right up there. Maybe insert some real talent like Neko Case in there instead.
@eac12354 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyeisberner6812 I give you a thumbs up, with a however attached. You should have included Agnetha and Ani Frid..... you remember ABBA . They were most likely the best as well as hottest. IMO.

For those who spend their days idolizing Kardashians and Bachelorettes, have a good look at what a "lady" is. Definition of class and despite the internal tire fire that was Fleetwood Mac was, she conducted herself with absolute grace and dignity.
