Definitely my least favorite of the 3 singles released so far but still a solid song. The first two were sick! I've been listening to this band for a few years and have yet to hear a song of theirs that I don't like! I can't wait for the album to drop!

I liked the beginning, reminded me of "The Violation". but the chorus with the female vocals ruined it on this track making it too popish or what you call it. You can see where this band is going, the female vocals is more and more dominant, they might as well make her the front vocalist at this point. Maybe it´s their direction? Symphonic metal with female vocals, just with some screams here and then like Epica.

I understand where you are coming from. For me it's when the female vocals are poppy that ruins it. That's why I dislike most of Epica and the likes. If the vocals are more operatic/dramatic then i find it fitting and enjoyable.

Really bad imo. All the talent this band has just for a cookie cutter song structure and too much clean singing.

Lol "really bad"? I mean I can get not being a fan of certain parts but the drumming was absolutely incredible and a solid solo as well. Cleans were a downfall but I expect it to make more sense the full LP drops.

@@PavelGaborik that's what makes it really bad to me. When you have good parts that don't last because of a generic song structure and a horrid chorus that is repeated more than 2 times.

@cokejones "Really bad" is music lacking good elements, this had objectively very good technical elements, Eugene is an S tier drummer and that alone makes this song worth a listen.

@@PavelGaborik If it had a more organic song structure, I 'd agree. Something along the lines of Beyond Creations 'The Deported' or August Burns Red 'Treatment'. I like songs that flow like a book, with very few repetitious parts, mainly in how the song itself is written where it's just a constant flow and not many repeated lines in lyrics. My disdain for the same ABABCB (Verse - Chorus - Verse - Chorus - Bridge - Chorus), really annoys me, especially in death metal. Bands can make catchy songs using that method, but this is not one of them. I would not listen to this again if I didn't have to
