Great album. It grows on you. I can really feel Mansons suffering and the shit he's been thru in the album.

when that Opeth review coming lool. I did not like valediction at all, but was in love with their last 2 albums before that, diluvium and akrosis, those are top tier IMO. They have had a full line up change too, so its been interesting sound changes

i think the Igorrr comment was most appropriate lmao. Literally uber heavy Igorr for this song lammo, pretty random. Only thing I can saw its like very effect heavy, how tf play this live lol

Yeah, whenever I hear this band /this track especially/ it seems like they continue the path of DEATH. I mean, this is probably what Chuck would be playing if he was still alive. A very prog/technical/melodic/death metal. Cool stuff.

I love Obscura!! So much respect to the founder/vocalist/guitarist Steffen. I think he started this band when he was 16 or 17?! Crazy! Very talented and gifted. I am looking forward to a tour soon…. Also I think the weird shot of the band at the end was supposed to be a new line up reveal or something, because it’s all new members except for Steffen.. kind of a running theme with Obscura but that’s fine.

Great reaction. Saw Obscura in Silver Spring, MD in March of 2023. They are as good live as in the studio. Great band. Thanks!

Maybe it must grow on me, the album. It sounds like a movie soundtrack, which I suppose makes sense with Tyler Bates producing. I'm calling it "Stock Rock" But having said that there are some tracks I really like - Sick as the Secrets, Nod if you understand, Sacrilegious is fun I'm just so impressed how Manson dealt with this hateful hoax, with dignity and strategy. All artists grow and make music according to what's going on in their lives, its just not where my music taste is at. Really hope this puts him back on the map and restores his status as the legend he is

This is 100% the best songs the opening track I can't believe it. I love this song so much it is in my top 10 favorite Marilyn Manson songs. I'm 43 and I've been listening to Manson since I was 15/1996. This is one of his best albums. It is just so good, beautiful, epic, top tier.

When I was a teen in the early 2000s I purchased this album at a local cd store at the time before knowing what to expect, right before truly getting into black metal... I literally thought that I must be evil for loving it. haha! I felt such a dark emotion while listening to It that I will never forget. it opened up my mind in exploring black metal and its' subgenres that it will forever be a classic to me, and I am glad it got a toetag from Tvfish.

"No one can hear my last words, no encore once we say goodbye." heartbreaking followed immediately, by, "you will always be entertained." Terrifying... because it's true... our culture suppresses the accused for our own entertainment.

Oh look it's Neil & Bob again 🙄 these guys are the "diet coke" of Heavy Metal 😂 it's their pointless opinion at the end of the day. Think for yourselves, if you like the new album. If you don't like the new album then that's your right to. The jerk-off twins, seriously 😆😅😂🤣 Think for yourselves 😝

I actually like this album better than holywood so far... and if chapter 2 is just as good it will be my favorite work he's done.. i love ACS but as I get older his softer stuff is my favorite.

The screamer/guitarist writes the music, and he’ll spend like 6 months writing one song. One of the reasons why they release EPs and not LPs. Hope to see an LP from them soon though. Exciting stuff - they’re breaking new ground in deathcore

Loved this song and all their recent stuff. A few weeks late, but darko us has a sick music video for blood host that would be a good reaction. Not sure, but have you guys not reacted to any darko us? If so, I'm surprised because all their stuff is amazing. Tom barber from Chelsea grin is the vocalist.

There is an EP called The Tower : Part One with three songs (Icarian, Aberrant Waltz and Malphasian). It was released on September 10. But since this is only the first part, we can expect other parts in a few months (I hope so).

They said they took so long so they could come back with something memorable something different then release the exact same thing as always..having said that I like it..has a little serpentine dominion in it at the start before going typical Killswitch..but im expecting a lot better from the album

Who are these guys?? This is awesome death metal that happens to be melodic (as opposed to melo-death) whilst still laying down the heaviness. We need more bands like this. Loving this album.

@@xaviaczombie412 not entirely sure. Nov 22nd is the day JFK got assassinated. Not sure if that has anything to do with the release date. Maybe a coincidence, maybe on purpose.

I think the song is alright. As a huge Killswitch Engage fan, I find myself agreeing with TV Fish, the song sounds disjointed to me. It is not horrible, but not as dynamic as other Killswitch songs. That being said, I am still excited about the new album and hope to see them live next year.
