I’ve heard fletcher for years but this one ive reeeally fallen in love with her, and this is coming from a guy. This song and suckerpunch (my favourite) really make me remember my ex, it’s been a year and half now but she’s on my mind every second of the day and night, was really my true true love but I stuffed it up. These two Fletchers songs, the vocals & the lyrics…that raw emotion of knowing what it’s like to really love someone and to give them up even through every fibre of your being wants & tells you otherwise. These two songs really give me flashbacks of memories and PTSD about the whole relationship and her. Also mixing it all in with going odd work at our old workplace where we met and the trips to places we took, and still living in the same town still, her house and the occasional sight of her driving around is hard but unlike them generally being negative and causing me anxiety, putting these songs on and listening to them and Cari pouring her emotions into them really actually comforts me and comforts those negative vibes, although makes me sad a bit, its really cathartic/therapeuti & a great lifting almost therapy like moment, listening is a really healing feel. Sure those memories etc will forever be there, but have Cari and her songs like these makes me be able to move on, start a new journey and trust in the universe & god that evening happens for a reason and although it may be difficult at points, there is plan for our lives. We just have to stay positive. Love you Cari, and thank you so very much for helping keep me from my own demons.
