I play a G1 in my solo McCallum McC2. Man I love the sound. Those reeds are the freaking best. Don't even have to tape it. Sadly that's not my band chanter or reed. T_T

timothy fogarty, this tune in my opinion fits well along with battle of waterloo and gardens of skye, search Strathclyde police pipe band and they play it in this very set

@@peterwilson2946 I played this as part of a 4/4 set with Meeting of the waters Battle of Waterloo and Gardens of Skye. It is one of those ubiquitous tunes that fits anywhere. If played as the first tune the introductory E has to be cut short to get the opening notes in.
