I got this bag from my husband for christmas couple weeks ago after having it on my wish list and i just absolutely love it. Its small but it can fit so many things. I love the clever way how its sewn together so that the individual compartments expand if i need them to and it just looks absolutely stunning. For me this is the IT bag for running around ❤

I have the mini in this color. I love it. The leather is sumptuous. My Samsung S24 in a case fits perfectly in the back pocket. I carry a card case and a Longchamp coin purse and two lip balms in the main pocket, plus my keys. I can also tuck my sunglasses in at the top and close it perfectly. ❤

It's absolutely darling and I appreciate the good look inside. So many purse sites won't show you the interior, which is the main selling point for me. Alas, it's a titch too small for my purposes and I prefer zipped compartments - so I super appreciate getting the chance to realize it's not the right bag for me. Still it's a lovely purse and I can totally see why it's been on your wish list for so long.

Hey Katie, just by watching the video I can tell that the Fleuron bag is more qualitative in terms of leather and manufacturing. The leather looks soft, and yet substantially thick. The clasp is very interesting and from a custom-made mould, which always costs a lot more to the brand. I just wish these brands would finally understand to put a zipper under the flap, because a lot of us want the extra safety level, and (depending on their production levels, which I'm unaware of) it shouldn't be a massive cost that affects their margins. Now, that would make the bag perfect :) I keep repeating it under every video in the hope that the brand read my comment ahahh Thank you for your review!

Hello. I’ve just got the mini Hortensia in rose ballet and I love it. It’s small but fits my id, phone and card holder. I also got the mini Swann in fuchsia, it fits more because of the shape. Love the quality on all.

Is the Hortensia bag bigger or smaller than Fauvette Adele?

in terms of the inside space I think it's slightly smaller! Adele bag is more square and boxier so roomier inside, Fleuron is quite narrow and rectangular and not as deep x

I unfortunately found the Soeur Belissima bag to be the worst quality bag I’ve ever owned. I wore it for about 2 hours and the leather had already peeled, it was bizarre! This was the black lizard leather as I thought it would be more durable than the smooth version. I was luckily able to return it the next day and got a full refund but I’ll never risk buying a bag from them again.

I discovered this brand a while ago from a video you made (Was it "Luxury bags for less"??) and it has been high on my wishlist ever since. Does anyone else find the Fleuron Hortensia clasp hard to open? I got mine a couple of days ago and the clasp at times does not open easily. It takes a few tries and it's annoying me

They’re pretty different bags! Ateliers Auguste is a box leather so harder and smoother. And it’s a shoulder bag only. Similar quality wise though 😊

I tried this in Paris… but ended up buying Sezane Claude… because the quality feels superior, clasp is easier to use, and holds more - Claude is slightly thicker. Fleuron is SUPER soft… leather smells amazing but very prone to scratches. That’s my take.

They’re both lovely! I think the quality of the Fleuron feels nicer but agree about the clasp and the Sézane is the better choice if you’ll use it more because it’s more durable ☺️

Welcome to the Fleuron obsession. I have two bags, one a Pivonne in sable and have been using it the last eight months. I do not treat that bag well. I mean shoving it under an airplane seat type of abuse. It still looks good, soft. Not quite pristine, a small mark on one side and just noticed a bit of color transfer in a corner, but neither noticeable. I’m a Fleuron devotee!

I think mostly it’s that our wage growth has not kept up with inflation. Here’s the milk test. I checked ASDA and online the price of milk is around 64p (per litre), which converted is $1.25 (pricing is based on 4 pints/2.2 litres) however our cheapest 2 litre milk is $3.00 (so $1.50 per litre) now I know 25 cents (13p) doesn’t seem like much but when you start to talk about higher amounts it makes a difference. It’s ok though as a recovering shopaholic…I’m better to admire the beautiful things than own too many. I received my Sezane Claude in black croc and I love how shiny it is, so I’m happy with that.
