My understanding is that G Class are the ones who want to be profesional dancers Y class are ones who want to concentrate in vocals and X class are the few that audition from these classes to be training to be trainees at YG or other companies if so the competition here is friggen intense

Y class is for those who dance or sing as hobby. G class is for those who want singing or dancing as profession and they give exams and auditions to be selected as idol backup dancers or idol trainees. This is what I read in some other x academy video's comments
