Hey dude, awesome vid and subbed. Quick question: would you consider going more int, elemental gem on spear and then ice dmg + ig artifact?

So Int scaling on a DEX weapon that can scale on two stats just isn't worth it, you lose too much output damage to begin with (75% scaling on only INT), but yes I am using the Deep Freeze, it's pretty absurd, you can go for 200str-200dex-200con or 200str-250dex-150con (if you don't have too much magnify and full 700GS), and the damage output is really nice when they are under your or your teammates ice effects/roots. -pylon +ice storm since you can't slot plagued crits on the deep freeze (due to refreshing move already being there) And I'm glad you liked the video!

Been checking your recent videos -- I am trying to make a war disruptor/killer build, with spear main hand. Heavy armor (unfortunately following the current trend). Then for off hand, few options (1) SNS, as your previous vid (2) this IG build (3) rapier bleed and flourish finish? (4) lifetaker (5) musket, trap and powerburn (6) throwing hatchet (7) greatesword. In war scenario, which build do you think has the most potential of being that disruptor but also nails with kill counts? Assuming with same war disruptor group. Not sure if you have a video about Spear + GS, could serenity be good here for that burst kill potential? @godotnw

Sorry for the late reply, but I would say the most consistent build for wars would be Spear SNS (heavy), and the skill ceiling isn't as high as some of the others, I would say for Flex group main melee IG is very good, and for a hybrid GS secondary is also very well rounded. Spear Rapier mostly as a hunter and played on medium (I uploaded a new video on it recently)

Do you not miss the keen speed for the chase potential? i cant decide on the last perk for the spear. Awesome guide as always.

I won't lie when I say I don't feel the need of keen speed, keen speed is always great to have, but the issue is there's too many other perk priorities. Glad you liked it!

How do you control the spear , most of the time my abilities don’t hit right the target, or I miss or it makes the sound but not the damage, the sync is so weird, swiping some times knock down other times makes the animation then does the damage only on the second hit . It’s just so weird

Sorry late reply, but in general it just takes a lot of time playing this weapon to get used to the tracking, some abilities have issues with dsync/rubber band, such as the skewer, but there's always niche things u can do to control it. Some of the issues you describe seem very ping based issues :(

Wouldn't it be better shirking element for damage in weapon instead of attunement? It deals a lot more damage and you dodge with spear nonstop.

It's good but the consistency is great, tried it before and attunement is still the way to go!

There's not too many changes I would say, int gem scaling just isn't worth it on the spear, however you can't use plagued crits on the deep freeze artifact, so I went with healing tomb perk instead as the final perk lock on deep freeze, Ice storm replacing Ice Pylon. I'll be updating all of my builds in the future on a specific website, but for the meantime if you would like to know more in terms of skill tree and what not, make sure to ask in the community discord, as I generally answer all questions there, link is in the description!

How to get items with elemental aversion and sf?

These illegal perk combos can only be attained in certain dungeons, - Savage Divide mutation provides Primal set, which has Shirking Fortification + Elemental Aversion for heavy gloves and pants, but as well as medium gloves - Depths mutation also provides a few Shirking Fortification + Elemental Aversion pieces for legs and boots (Imbued Waxen) - Glacial Tarn is the only dungeon that provides Enchanted ward combined with Elemental aversion, it is a named heavy set called "Frigid Dawn" Everything can be looked up here: nwdb.info/ Happy new years!

Funny enough I have ran this build in PVE as a "TANK" spec, and it works pretty nicely, but you would need to run wind chill over ice storm with a carnelian, Vault kick instead of sweep
