Great review! I own several Flex tools and love them. My wife broke my half inch hammer drill using an auger but for her garden, not to mention that she left it laying around in the dirt. And my dumb self forgot to register it for warranty when I bought it in 2021 so I’m out a drill. Lol. In my wife’s defense I’m sure she had no idea how to use the drill.

@@HANDYMANHEADQUARTERSI’m just trying to get an idea of how many people haven’t had any issues with the batteries because I bought the turbo hammer drill kit for $119 on sale at Lowe’s. The issue seems really random, and I’m hearing that it has something to do with moisture in the battery causing the cooling stuff to break down and leak.

good honest review from a guy that actually uses tools for a living.....not like a lot of these youtube tool review channels that have monkeys testing products in a fake shop that have no real world experience on how tools actually get utilized by professionals and what is really important to them.....Cheers from a contractor in Canada.....hope the channel grows fast

I am switching from Dewalt to FLEX. Some Dewalt tools will have to still be used of course but in time all will be FLEX. FLEX has been around a long time in Europe focusing on the detailing and finishing world. In my opinion polishers and grinders “which they are known for” are easy to use and not hard on your hands. That same technology is applied to the 24v hand tools they are bringing forward.
@HANDYMANHEADQUARTERS3 жыл бұрын
Yeah they are a good quality tool in my opinion. They will hold up!

Is this the same company with the European Flex? Because I can't seem to find the 24v line anywhere in EU. Plus all their products/tools here are red colored.

Less than 300 subscribers and companies sending you tools. That must be nice! I am just seeing the Flex tools today browsing YT. I've just purchased more tools from Makita, Dewalt and Milwaukee blowing my budget for the next year or more. Now I'm seeing all these Flex tools that looks so much better in most ways. The angle grinder, narrow belt driven circ and driver and drill.... UGH Progress sucks sometimes

I tend to think flex missed an opportunity with the LED on the impact. Would of been nice too see them put tri-leds on the head as so much impact use these days is done in tight spaces. Nice video though. I might try it when the become available in Canada.

After seeing your comment, I just went and got my FLEX impact driver for my now dark patio. I see everything very well with that large LED. It really puts out a substantial amount of light that would easily light up any sink under sink area, etc.. in fact, this would substitute fine as a night light to the kitchen. No missed mark IMHO.

@HANDYMANHEADQUARTERS3 жыл бұрын
Good question! I do think there is less vibration in them. If I had to choose which one i would choose these over ridgid. They seem to be better built as far as build quality in the tool and batteries. They have a lot of power being on the 24v system.

They have a bit more juice than most other brands in the price range including Milwaukee. Only thing is they overheat far too quickly, and when they do; they take far too long to cool. No thanks. Ill stick to my triple hammer. I do like the inline circular saw though. I will not buy it as I have a left side blade "sidewinder" by Skilsaw. Its a beast that requires a cord but I would rather cord my saws.
