I customized a Ridgid seesnake camera and converted into a flex shaft drain cleaning machine, it's just a Prototype the finished project will be much better than this one!

They've been trying out a lot of different snake cables from general to rigid and others they all work pretty much the same I also have some real genuine flex shaft cables that I usethey work a little better because they don't stretch out when you get them far into the drain like the snake cables do and little less friction in the sleeve, and for the sleeve are used in this video was actually a steel electrical conduit, works pretty good but it's not water resistant and water gets inside and rust it out real bad changed to a lot of different style sleeves to get better results I'll be making some more videos later

How is the drill connected to the 3/8 cable? Is directly on it or does have a fitting?

What type of outer hose is that? Looks like a garden hose.. I was thinking of making my own.

Was trying out different things for the cover the one I was using in the video is actually an electrical insulation hose, works good stiff enough to push through the drains and will let the cable spin fast enough to do a good cleaning job.

@@ProPower Where can i find that hose? Is that what u ended up using?

Nice job. What brand drum cable are you running & are you using one of those stainless steel garden hose's for the sleeve or something else. Nice work.

Was using a ridgid 3/8"x75' snake cable and was trying out different materials that would spin the best with the cable inside for the sleeve.
