Use the skinny flexi rods instead of the big ones if you have short hair

You can definitely do it. I usually stick to type 4, low porosity, high density because the curls are tighter in some sections than others. And no matter what I say someone will debate me on my texture lol! Go for it sis!

Did you sit under the hair dryer? I tried to let it air dry and it took 2 days for my hair to dry somewhat. It still wasn't totally dry but I just couldn't take the rods any longer.

I didn't. I did it on dry hair instead of wet hair which helps cut back on drying time
