Oh but when I was teaching, and recognized the absurdities of having kids sit for hours on end--with not much more than a bathroom break--I incorporated movement, even song and dance breaks (remember Katy Perr's Firework?l, but THAT was shocking and discouraged by the administration. Nevermind that my students were achievers.
