The fitting on a B tank is called a CGA-520 fitting. It has external threads on the tank. The miniature tank most techs carry is called an MC tank (10 cubic foot). It also has external threads on the tank. That fitting is called CGA-200. The large acetylene tanks (60-400 CF) can have external threads (CGA-300) or internal threads (CGA-510). No idea why they need so many different fittings for acetylene. All sizes of industrial oxygen bottles use the same CGA-540 connector (to the best of my knowledge, anyway). All inert gases like argon, nitrogen, helium, etc use the same CGA-580 fitting (again, to the best of my knowledge)

I've used the jewlers torch kit for several years now. With close quarters its a wonderful thing. I've even did 1⅛" with the rosebud tip with it.

What pressures do you run on the torch.

I switched to self adjusting regulators but you wanna be around 5psi for acetylene & 10psi for oxygen
