Flexible workflow is mainly introduced to simplify the approval process for the business users, hence SAP recommends to always use My Inbox for approval and release fields which means start and step conditions in Flexible workflow can be maintained only using Fiori Apps. Any custom conditions required it can be achieved through development

We can have multiple levels of approvers in flexible workflow by defining step conditions based on various levels as per the business requirement

Actually there will be significant changes insignificant changes. Source assignment cannot be significant, because Source in PR is not binding on the part of purchase department. The source in PR is only an information. It is upto purchase department from whom the material should be procured. If that is allowed it leads to scam and match fixing 😜

If you are able to see your work item in My inbox then you need to approve it using fiori app , if work item is not visible then please cross check your agent determination and task activation settings. Also check your RFC connection settings through SWU3 - You can take help from your Basis and Workflow consultant for this

After creating PO with FWF, in case I need to make some changes before getting the approval or after getting the approval what are the steps? while we have this message (Purchase order 45XXXXXXXXX is in approval. You can only display it, not edit it. )
