When I think about Bakugo and Kirishima's relationship, I think it's easier to understand if you think in terms of quirks and personalities being tied. Bakugo is explosive and Kirishima is durable. They make a good pair because Kirishima understands that Bakugo is a little rough around the edges and is willing to put up with it because he like's him. Also, Kirishima helps him try to achieve his goal of being the #1 hero, like in the Cavalry Race. I don't think Bakugo views their relationship as a superior/inferior one, but an honest friendship, because not many people are willing to deal with him or his attitude at this time in his life.

Quirks and personalities being connected is a theme you see throughout the show. Like how Todoroki sometimes flips between icy calmness and fiery anger, or how Uraraka lifts everyone's mood just by being near. And don't even get me started on villains.

Yayy this is what I've been waiting for a long time your reaction for my second favourite anime after Bleach: My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero) that I've started watching just when I've watched a whole Bleach and first Cour TYBW in 2022 can't believe it's 3 years of 2022 my favourite year of my life because then TYBW started and in 2023 I've watched MHA to 2024 and now 2025 i'm still in season 7 episode 11 what's been an epic season, but still somehow season 1 is my favourite and it's so nostalgic to see you're reacting for MHA season 1 and 2.
