When I studied, my instructor had a pretty fast jump spin back kick. I could often see it coming, but always got the wind knocked out of me cause I couldn't move in time. It's not sexual tension... Rock Lee and Gai are here to the perfect time. We have seen very powerful Ninjutsu and Genjutsu until jet. Here we see how strong the basic Taijutsu can be. A nice reminder of that. Gai is his Sensei and his BIG example. You will see why. PS: The chunin exams are really hard. The children are not really spared.

Yes Saske is #1 in his year. Remember at the begining it was said that the reason for this team is because Saske was at the top, Sakura in the middle, and Naruto was at the bottom. But that was only from the current year. Lee and "rival" from his own squad he was talking about are both 1 year older than the others. At one point Guy and Kakashi were talking about how Guy sensi could have had his students try the Chunin Exams last year but he wanted them to enjoy their youth and he tried to convince Kakashi to do the same but he didn't. I am not sure if it was ever confirmed that Lee and Guy are related or not but either way Lee just dresses like his sensei because he admires him so much. As for the turtle I won't spoile anything but notice that it disappeared in a puff of smoke exactly like Kakashi's dogs did in the battle with Zabuza. Guy did say he and Kakashi were rivals.

You could assume that Sasuke and his brother are not the only Uchihas that got the sharingan so probably he learned about it so when he awakened it he immediately knew what was going on.

Interesting question, how can the Sharingan appear just like that by opening the eyes? No one has paid detailed attention to this so far, but my opinion is that you probably need to strain the cornea when you open your eyes wide, there is simply no other explanation because no one has paid much attention to detail. By the way, i have more interesting fact related to the guy Lee mentioned before he left, which related to the eyes - read this fact below: FUN FACT: Author Masashi Kishimoto when he created the Byakugan actually took the appearance of the eyes of people who were victims of nuclear radiation after Hiroshima and Nagasaki who were left permanently blind. So that they would not be humiliated by the appearance of such eyes, he gave the Byakugan the ability to see everything.

Ninja squads are groups of three. So, the events will all involve their team, although they may also have individual events. The fate of each member closely affects the entire team. The turtle is a summons. If you remember, Kakashi summoned a squad of dogs, to help find Zabuza & keep him in place. Summons require a certain amount of energy/chakra to summon. This will determine how long a summons will remain before disappearing, among other things. Taijutsu is what Rock Lee uses. It basically describes physical prowess and hand to hand combat skills. While some people may have special abilities to use, Taijutsu covers martial arts abilities. Rock Lee's teammates are Neji, and Tenten. You will learn about them, and the other teams fairly soon. The exams are a bit like the Hunger Games, with the main difference being that the contestants are grouped into squads. The Leaf has multiple squads entered. Also, there are other villages entered, with their own squads. The environment is somewhat controlled, but there are also real stakes involved. The relationship with Lee and his sensei will be clarified over the course of time. It will never quite be explained, though. I think you will eventually understand them better, though. They are basically a Meme Team. They represent they gym rat PMA types that are always training & improving themselves. I think you will grow to like them. Also, Guy has his own way of interpreting things, so take what he says with a grain of salt. Lee's world is his Sensei, so expect his view of reality to be slightly skewed, too. It's good to see you enjoying this. Trust me. You're still on the surface. 🙂

Growing up I thought Sasuke was so cool (my myspace page had Naruto and Sasuke all over it lmao) but I definitely identified more with Naruto, so I didn't FULLY appreciate the subtlety behind his character until I got a little older. Now when I rewatch or reread the story I have a whole new respect for him as a character
